Mindanao was shaken again, not by the bandits, but by strong aftershock of 5.3 magnitude! It was the day after a strong eartquake also hit Mindanao according to seismologists.
It happened around 5 o'clock in the morning about 160 kilometers away from General Santos City.
The earthquake hit Mindanao last Sunday, June 14, 2009. The Philippines is sitting on the ring of fire, where the continental plates meet, and it the one that causes the frequent shaking and volcanic activities. It was feared that a tsunami might occur but it was a good thing nothing happened.
It's very important that we all should know what to do during earthquakes. It makes me review again my survival guide if an earthquake occurs.
But there's also a reason to rejoice because Orlando Magic was hit by a earthquake with a magnitude of 4 is to 1 win by L.A lakers with 99-86 Game 5 win over the Orlando Magic, who ran out of comebacks!
